In Rome, I spoke with and photographed Abruzzese chef Daniela Maiorano about returning to her roots in Italy, preserving traditional methods of food production, and helping shed some light on small producers with her food and wine experiences. For The Globe and Mail.
“I want to take the power to change something and change something,” Maiorano says about her online reach. “I don’t want to do what all the others are doing, just doing things for themselves. We need to work for the community. We need to become, again, united.”
