I was born in Winnipeg, Treaty 1 Territory on a spring day in the late '80s, and grew up on the edge of town near a bend in the Assiniboine River. Now, I live beside the ocean.
In 2020 I released Two Rivers—an investigation into the nature of time, consciousness, and identity—via Axis Mundi Press. In 2022, I was long-listed for the National Gallery of Canada's New Generation Photography Award.
My work has been published in National Geographic, The Globe & Mail, VICE, No Depression, The A.V. Club, The FADER, The Winnipeg Free Press, and many other fine publications. In 2019, a piece I wrote for The Maritime Edit—Jeremy Dutcher's Gift For His People—won Silver in the Short Feature Writing category at the National Magazine Awards.
